Hi all, I'm looking to sell my JS2K-PLT Crystal Planet. I'd rather move it through here than *bay if possible because of quite a few horror stories I've heard (I don't mind the auction for smaller items, but this is something I'd rather deal with guitar lovers, and this seems like a good place).
I received this guitar as a Christmas present from my ex-wife in 2001. I think she bought it from a collector, but not 100% sure (it may have even come from someone who frequents this forum). It's number 094/200, in excellent shape, and contains all the "accessories" (Certificate plaque w/sleeve, warranty card hangtag, instructions, inspection card, tremolo bar w/extra bushings, soft bag for guitar, and JS2K case...all still in unused condition). The guitar has stayed in its case for the most part, but pulled out a few times a year to check it over, etc. I won't say it's "never played", as I naturally play a few riffs/licks on it when I take it out, but it's only been connected to an amp once (when I first got it to see how it sounded), and total "playing" time is easily less than half an hour total for the 7 years I've owned it (the bar has never even been put in the trem). I'm assuming anyone looking at this knows the features of this guitar, so I'll stick with condition specifics, which I see no marks/scratches on the guitar (other than fingerprints that easily wipe off). I'm including some pics, but I saw in the rules to only post pics from your own personal webspace, so I'm assuming it means our own picture hosting account since that seems to be on other ads. If I'm incorrect, please let me know, mods, and I'll remove the link and send pics by email. I tried to give a good representation in the pictures, but feel free to ask for any specific angles or parts of the guitar you want to see and I'll be glad to take it for you. The "bubbles" you see on the badge on the case is the protective plastic covering that I didn't remove (I don't want anyone to think the badge is messed up).

Price is $4500 + actual shipping/insurance. I'll ship anywhere in the world (I'm in North Carolina, USA), but shipping/insurance may be pretty expensive to overseas. I'll accept certified bank check/money order, personal check, or Paypal (guitar won't ship until payment clears/verified), or if you live near, I can meet you in person. I wouldn't recommend mailing cash, but it's your call.
