I'm selling my backup Laney GH100L head. it is basically brand new except there's some issue with the transformer. other than that the amp is basically the same as from the factory. new Laney GH100L head retails for $1100 + tax. i'm looking for a quick sale. US$500 + shipping. open for trades for nice Blues combo amps or high end RGs

You mention something with the transformer. Has it been checked out by a repair shop? Are you sure it's the transformer?

no it hasnt been checked by a repair shop. im not sure if its the transformer or something else. but some experienced users / amp experts from the forum suggested it might be the transformer
since it's a back up i didnt bother to carry it to a repair shop to repair. this is why im selling it for such a low price. im looking for a quick sale.

i've got some PM's regarding the amp's problem. i think i should post answers here. the amp can be turned on. all the tubes seem to work fine. they light up. i'm not sure what's wrong with the amp. maybe it's a simple fix.
so those who know how to fix amps are definately getting a GREAT deal on this. new GH100L retails for $1100 + tax. it's a $700+ savings after tax

update - the GH100L is now in repair shop. those who want to buy this head has an option of fixing it first before shipping.

just got the Laney back from the repair shop. turns out it was only a bad fuse... they changed the fuse and the Laney is ready to rock now. obviously the price is not $470 anymore.
the new price is $650 + shipping.
