Ok, basically I bought this guitar and it's was described as being near mint and when it arrived it clearly wasn't so I ask for a refund through PayPal. PayPal have agreed to pay the refund IF they can get the funds from the sellers bank account, but I must first send the guitar back to the seller. So... who's to say that they CAN get the money back if I sent it? Which is why my loss could prove to be some lucky Jemsiter's gain. I'm going to try and sell it on here, described CORRECTLY, and if someone buys it (and at the price I'm asking that extremely likely) then I'd happy to get a chunk of cash back and not have to deal with PayPal's "Buyer Protection Scheme" (Yeah, it's a scheme alright.)
So here goes...
The bad stuff:
Basically, the guitar has two major dings and a few minor ones has just can see in the photos. The first one is a chip on the side of the horn strap pin that has damaged the wood but is secure. This was the best could do with this camera to show you. The second is at the back of the guitar near the bottom and is about just over an inch long and a quarter of a centimeter wide, it looks like it's had super glue run over it to prevent any further damage. There is a stress crack in the paint at the
neck joint (just like most old RG/Jems have) and one small one near the tone control screw. A small ding near the bridge. Now then, I plugged the guitar in to briefly strum the strings and only got sound out of a couple of the pickups, so the "faulty" pickup may work perfectly after being cleaned or it may not, most people upgrade the damn things anyway so it shouldn't be a problem for most, but I'm selling this "as is" so I'm making sure to tell you now. The pickguard also has a few small cracks in it which you can see in the pictures. Unfortunately no whammy bar, but I think I can throw in a gig bag to make up for that.
The good stuff:
The neck is AWESOME to the point that I was going to part the thing out and reclaim most of the cash back off of this.
Maple fretboard too!! It has a couple of small dings on the back of it that you cannot feel whilst playing. There is little to no fretware at all and it is perfectly straight. The hardware is in great condition too with the faintest of wear. Cool flip-flop paint! With the right pickups in it and maybe a new pickguard this thing is gonna be a monster

Personally, I'd use this as a great upgrade guitar, maybe a swirl?
So there you have it.
I've can only have this up for a couple of days so don't expect me to keep chiming in with reductions every couple of days. I've got roughly 5 days before I have to have it sent out unless I sell the guitar here, in which case I'll cancel the dispute with PayPal.
Oh yeah, a price! £245 plus shipping for a quick sale!
