This is an original V1.0 TriAxis preamp in excellent condition. The faceplate looks great, and has spend its life sitting in studio's, it has not been gigged to my knowledge. It does have some rack rash, and the top cover has a few marks on it from where a previous owner appears to have attached some pedals. The ears are a little bent, but it sits in the rack perfectly and does not tilt at all.
This version is the original version and has the British Shred mode instead of the recto mode on LD1Red.
I am by all accounts the 3rd owner of this TriAxis. It was originally one of 3 TriAxis units that were sold by Mike Rutherford (of Genesis and Mike and the Mechanics) when Genesis sold around 600 pieces of studio gear on evilbay a few years back. The previous owner told me that it was serviced before he received it and that he had not gigged it. I haven't gigged it either, it's been sitting in my rack and has been used just for recording purposes.
Its in perfect working order, all LED's working, MIDI switching, mode switching (for use with the 2:90
power amp), and sounds fantastic. If you love the classic boogie tones, this amp is ideal. It also has possibly the best clean channel I've ever heard, it really sparkles.
This is a UK version with a UK power transformer. It also installed with a mixture of JJ, Sovtek, EH and Mesa valves - which i think work pretty well! Also comes with a set of spair valves. This should give you enough valves to experiment a little with.
I'm looking for £700 including Parcel Force 48 delivery within the UK. Open to offers.

This was bought brand new in 2006 and hasnt been gigged or removed from the rack since it was installed. It looks practically brand new with only the slightest signs of rack rash. The faceplate is the newest version available.
I had to wait 3 months to get this from Mesa, and production on these is slowing. This is a great way of getting a almost brand new 2:90.
Looking for £1000 including Parcel Force 48 delivery within the UK (This is a very very heavy item!). Open to offers.
I am only willing to deliver to the UK. Payment preferred by cheque as I'd rather avoid the Paypal fees, but if you want to cover the fees, then I'll gladly accept.
