FS: Mesa, Peavey, Rocktron, Furman, Rack Case

Hey guys, got some stuff for sale. Been trying to get these posted for months, just haven't had time. Want to give you guys a go at them before they head to the Bay.


Peavey Rockmaster with FJA medium gain mod
$275 + $15 S&H
Very Good Condition. Includes Footswitch. medium gain mod smooths out harsh gritty tone. when coupled with a good tube power amp, clean tones are similar to the bell like tones of a fender or mesa boogie clean channel; Distortions are smooth, but raw and powerful. Has amazing blues tones when rolling back the volume on the guitar. FJA also modded the two different-leveled signal outputs on the back to output the same levels, effectively making this a true stereo preamp. Medium gain mod is $175 alone.

Mesa Boogie 50/50 Stereo Power amp
$350 + $25 S&H
Very good condition. Has some case damage to the back near cooling fan. The damage is strictly cosmetic and does not affect the fan or the internal workings/tone of the power amp. Amazing sounding power amp. Adds warmth and thickness to any style of preamp (tube or not).

Furman PL-8 Series II
$75 + $15 S&H
Perfect Condition. Used only in home shock-mounted rack case. Virtually no visible rack rash.

Rocktron Replifex
$150 + $15 S&H
Good condition. Pots could use a cleaning with electric contact cleaner. Other than that in perfect working order. Better tone than most of the current rack processors in its class and some above it.

Rocktron Midimate
$125 + $15 S&H
Good condition. Some of the paint is wearing off the face, but all mechnical functions work perfectly.

Grundorf 6 space Carpeted rack
$60 + $15 S&H
Carpet is in very good condition. Hardware showing some age. Not sure of production year.

couple points/questions i want to address based on a PM I received

Best selling reference I have is mine and my dad's **** account. dsbest1. I've bought and sold a lot of guitar items through this. All buyers/sellers were always pleased.

I want to clarify the condition on the Mesa Power Amp. I don't want to give the impression that the damage is just basic rack rash. It looks as though it was banged against something or maybe dropped from a low height by a previous owner, but it was enough to bend the thin metal around the tube area and the corner screw point no longer matches up. Tough to explain so I'll see if i can get a picture up today. Like i said it's cosmetic, everything still works, but it's a little more than standard rash.

Oh, Shipping to USA only. Dealt with too many out of US transactions where people want me to undervalue the item or do something to dodge import tariffs or duty fees. I won't do it, and unfortunately some people have ruined it for everyone.

hey what is the deal with the FJA medium gain mod. I knew there was a high and a low mod but haven't heard of the medium. Reason I ask is I am really looking for a FJA High gain modded RM.

Is this in between those two??

whoops. It's the low gain mod. even though it says low gain, doesn't mean it's not a powerful preamp.

Hi, I agree, the low gain mod is awesome on that preamp. It does great Marshall mid gain tones and the clean is a definite improvement over stock.
I really want a high gain modded one though. I will think on it a bit in the meantime.
