I'm selling a discontinued Ibanez JPM John Petrucci which has been resprayed black/white. No worries it's not some fake RGs. The guitar has an authentic verifiable serial which can verified. Going for neg.
It's in good clean condition as you can see from the pictures.

Hi there,

I resprayed it because I pretty much preferred a blackwhite scheme rather than black and ivory. In addition, white headstock and back to give that contrast which actually out very well.
I dont think it's true abt the serials. There is a serial on the back of the headstock. I believe every JPM owner do get that on their JPM too. Thanks.

So, the body and neck have been redone, the pickups have been either recovered or replaced.
Was the old paint job sanded off or sprayed over?

Who did the work?

I dont see it really being much of a JPM anymore. I think you've priced it semi-fairly, but it's more or less a custom jobbie now, rather than JPM of any kind.
Im not here to knock you or anything, Im just saying theres no point in arguing if was a real JPM or anything anymore, because the truth is, it's barely anything of what it used to be. Maybe the neck shape is gonna be JPM, but thats about it.
Let us know who did the work so the prospective buyer can at least know how professionally the work was done on a $700 guitar.
