OK, I know -- no extraneous conversation in the Classifieds. But...

This happens fairly frequently (ancient thread needlessly resurrected). I think in these cases, the forum software should invoke a pop up message advising the would-be poster that the thread is "... more than X months old with no activity in more than Y months..." or something like that.

Just a suggestion...
