FS:NEW Old Stock FENDER HM STRAT-Hot pink finish

Hi againĦĦĦ

As I told in the other post, need to sell some stuff of my collection because I have several unexpected bills to pay...
This time I´m selling a brand new old stock Fender USA made HM (Heavy Metal) Strat model, an amazing Metal axe from last 80´s. Only in production a few years, beteween 1988 and 1992. Guitar is from 1989 year... almost 20 years old (may we can say almost vintage??) and is in absolute pristine condition because was stored as part of my collection. Still it has the protective stickers on the bridge pickup cover and on the electronic rear cavity as shown on pics.

I must confess that I don´t like so much Fender Stratocaster guitars (O´m much into Ibanez, Kramer, ESP and Jackson), but when I had the chance to put a hand on this guitar late 1989, I was completely amazed about how different from any otehr Strat model I knew sonce that moment. Unreal comfortable and thinner maple neck than any other Strat, with a maple fingerboard that is completeley sweet and very fast to play. Sound in this guitar is killer. Even the single coils have the powewerful tone and high gain almost than humbucker. That´s was on the best point on guitar, is definetely a bomb. Even in othe superstrat models like Ibanez, Jackson etc.. single pickups are not so strong sounding like this. The bridge is the no more longer in production Kahler Spyder floyd licensed tremolo, with a particular touch who brings the guitar a nice sound and distinctive sound when using. So, as I told you, one single coil in neck position, other single in middle position and a Dimarzio "Super disortion" humbucker at bridge position. One volume and two tone knobs and a five switch position with also tiny switch to made humbucker single.

This guitar was the Fender answer to the superstrat fever in the late 80´s so popular with other models from manufacturers like Ibanez, Jackson, Kramer, Charvel etc... This excatly finish model was used during years as a endorsee by the amazing guitarplayer Greg Howe, and now can be listened again between some shred and heavy metal players like beautiful and awesome swedish player Lori Linstruth (www.lorilinstruth.com) because guitar became very popular and collectable.

So.. if you like Strats but never like the neck touch and standard sounds this will be as a dream come true as happens to me. A guitar built to rock and shred. Guitar comes with an also NEW non Fender HSC (I was using the old Fender original case always to pick up other guitar and now is in poor condition that I bought a new one), trem arm, and all papers from factory (warranty book, fender´s users guide, warranty card etc...).

Price: 1500 euros. Must consider that is a truly rare find new and the same price I pay for this guitar in our spanish past coin "pesetas" (250.00 pesetas) for an almost 20 years discontinued since 1992 and quite collectable.
Guitar will be delivered through Spanish Mail Company "Correos". Will be very well package to be safe in a big box. Shipping rate to Europe us around 60 euros and overseas or US around 120 euros. People who can be interested email me or sent a private and I can provide a more accurate rate.

Re: FS:NEW Old Stock FENDER HM STRAT-Hot pink finish

Hi everyone

Yeah, I know that is pretty high for US residents, but I pay for this guitar almost 20 years ago the current conversion of 1500 euros that in the old spanish coin was 250.000 pesetas. You have to be in mind that in those times, dollar was stronger than our coin... and unfortunately for you guys now it happens but on the reverse... is the dollar around a 30% less than euro... so I know that in conversion 1500 euros are 2000 US dollars and is pretty expensive... but in the european market nowadays you can not buy a cool fender USA model under 1200-1500 euros. So, if we add that we are talking of a NEW guitar that was stored during almost last 20 years and is a rare find also in europe because don´t arrive too much quantities of this guitars... I think is good. Maybe I´m wrong but I watch in some store in Germany some HM used and were over 800-900 euros.

I know that this guitars in US market are around 500-600$ used.. this is means 450-500 euros... but try to look for one new...

But anyway, is not my intention to screw anyone with the price so... I take in truly consideration your words and I will ship guitar everywhere in the world for the same rate. So SHIPPING WORLWIDE INCLUDED.

And remember that cost of life and value of money nowadays are completely different from US to European Union and both must be joined... may you can live good with a salary of around 1500$ but in europe this means 1100 euros and that´s is quite poor money for living...

About the trem arm, you know that you need to turn it to fit completely and I don´t do it... just only put it on guitar for pics for a few minutes.

CheersĦĦ

Re: FS:NEW Old Stock FENDER HM STRAT-Hot pink finish

Hi again guysĦĦĦ

I receive a cool mail from a member, explain me more things about the HM Strat models that I know.. somebody says "There´s always somebody to know more than you"... so... that´s a big ****ing truth.

So he told me that these recent models were produced in Japan. So as far as I know I always think were made in USA and that´s a fact that there are some polemic abouth if you asking to Fender.

HM Strats models runs from 1988-1992. Fender say that in 1990 starts the US production but they also think that may starts early 1987-88, crafting guitars in US with assembled components from Japan.

Anyway... my intention posting this sale is not to see who is right or not because probably at the end I will have the same answer... pretty hard to say wich ones are US or Japan.
The only thing that I take in consideration and I want to be clear is that if I´m wrong with my words it´s time to modificate.

So... I would like to say that this model from 1989 may could be made in Japan, even when have the post cover saying Made in USA. Maybe not Japanese and craft in US with assembled US parts. I don´t mind... we never be sure... so I think to low the rate is a good start to change the add don´t you??

1150 euros shipped worlwide.

Re: FS:NEW Old Stock FENDER HM STRAT-Hot pink finish

I know I'm not supposed to talk in these threads, but while it's at the top it shouldn't matter too much. That is an awesome example of a HM Strat. If I had the money I'd snatch it up at 1150 Euros. I think that's fair for a mint example like this.
