the gain channel is like a 5150 but with a little more refined distortion. there are active EQ's on the rhythm and lead channels the clean is passive and makes it a warmer and more resposive channel. has effects loops with levels for the send and return ( great for making up the volume difference between rack units/pedals) or just jumper it and use it as a 5th gain stage to get more crunch out of the amp.
