I have this Maverick Streetfighter SF1 Custom for sale. Rare guitar! There are only 4 in the world in this colour. I just got this guitar back today (21 May 09) as it has just been professionally set up by the Ex Asia touring guitar tech. Plays like a dream with an ultra low action. Superb rock guitar that will only increase in value as Maverick don't make guitars anymore and this is one of their rarest high end models. Real collectors item. Will place on the bay for buyers security. Comes with top quality Gator hardcase. £599 ovno I am UK based.

This model is not to be confused with the F1, F3 or other standard Maverick guitars. This is a handbuilt Custom Shop guitar and of a very high quality.

They are indeed the volume and tone controls. The offest fretmarkers are drilled right through the neck as well enabling you to see right through the neck, you can make this out if you look at the 4th pic down. I've piles more pics of the guitar available on request.

What are the pickups?

Wilkinson pups mate. This guitar was designed by Trevor Wilkinson and commisioned by Chris Fairley of guitar zone. Pickups are great for rock/blues and also have a bright crisp sound to them when played clean. Neck is Canadian rock maple. It's just had a phenomonal pro set up by the ex Asia touring guitar neck. Superb action on a very comfortable fast neck, plays like a dream. I'd say the guitar is in excellent condition, 9.5/10. I've seen ex demo models in worse condition. At first glance coming out of the case you'd say it was a new guitar. Couple of really minute marks which you would have trouble finding. Bit of buckle rash but mostly on the upper back plate with a few tiny marks on the body. Very rare guitar.

hey daemon, please tell me you havnt sold that guitar yet?!!! i know it was last summer when you posted this so its probably gone by now but if it isnt i would be very interested in buying it off you. ive only been looking the last few days and already i have just missed a really good maverick on ****, the auction only ended about a month ago. but then i saw your guitar....real nice. id nearly sell my liver for it. i already have a maverick sf1 but am looking for another one with a floyd rose and white(maple?) neck so this is perfect. those fret vents are just crazy, its such a shame those guys stopped doing business.
so anyway if its still available ill gladly pay the £499 and you can have my liver or kindey, but not both. im in Ireland at the moment but i dont mind paying shipping even if it is expensive

I'm surprised you found this ad as it was way, way down the listing by the time I did the swap deal so I forgot to lock this one up actually. Maybe the guy who has it now would sell.
