Ok I bought this guitar from a lady who was stationed in Japan in the early '90's and bought it new in the city Misawa from a
Ibanez dealer. She wanted it to learn to play bass and because it was purple. Said she never played it more then a few min and gave up. It sat in its shipping box untill her 10 year old discoverd in and put a few tiny bumps in it. Their is also horzontial cracking on the clear coat I have NO idea what thats from maybe temp changes? you can see it near the bridge the best. I polished the frets/fret board 0 wear at all, active pups and first gen vari mid-EQ work perfect, neck is perfect and clear is good besides the before mentioned cracking. ALSO Has original Ibanez shipping box and the card that came with it showing the model number.
Bad: Missing
truss rod cover, cracks, few small dings, and a local radio station sticker on the back (I can remove but if a collector buys he may have a better way of doing it then my trial and error), gunky tuners/bridge (dident want to use a compound that would mess up the Gold coating)
I have been told this may be the rarest Ibanez in the continent as this post from a guy on another board: "You dumb cracker! you have one of THE rarest SDGR's in north america! I'd say its worth at least $1500 on ****...1st generation varimid eq, ORIGIONAL packaging, PLUS a real flame maple top! in an ULTRA rare purple burst!

I guess it supply and demand, Their isent really any comparables on this guitar.......I dont like **** though and scammers.
So I am going too ask $1000.00 shipped in the shipping box (maybe another over it for protection) Please tell me if I am nuts!!! let me know! Like I said I doubt their are any in the states...... Will consider trades for diffrent Jems and RG 550-770 models +cash we can work something out.
