FS...RG-565/Zion Powerglide/Yamaha 1221M/ESP MII

So I have a pretty large deal in the works, and I have to move a few things to accomodate it.

First up is one that I had listed around Christmas time. I decided to pull it back, but now it looks like I have to list it again. This is a 91' RG-565 in almost perfect condition. It has the ever present finish crack in the bass side neck pocket, and a very small chip in the clearcoat near the 5 way switch, and that's all.........period. Even the case is mint with this one. I had it setup by the tech a couple of months ago, and have played it for a grand total of about 20 minutes since. My scalloped necked 550 gets ALOT of the playing time lately. This one here is about as pristine of an example of a 565 that you'll ever find. I'm looking for $675 shipped and insured to the CONUS and Canada.

Next up is a rarer than rare specimen...a Zion Powerglide. US made in North Carolina, these Zions are tremendous guitars. Routinely listing out in the 2k-3k range, this one is rare even by Zion's standards. From what I've been able to find out they only produced about 100 of these. Rumor has it that this particular one was owned by Frank Hannon of Tesla. Don't know for 100% if that's true....or how much it really matters, but interesting nonetheless. This one has an OFR, Sperzel locking tuners, set neck construction......even though it looks like a neckthru, and a sweet ebony fretboard. This one comes with a really nice hardshell case too. I'm lookng for $875 shipped and insured to the CONUS and Canada.

Next up is an early 90's ESP MII. It's pictured here missing one of the screws and pressure pads for the locking nut. These are coming in as I write this, and will be on there when it ships. This one's got a few chips and minor dings, but nothing bad at all,IMO....especially considering the fact it's close to 20 years old. I didn't get a bar for this one....or a case. I'm looking for $599 with one of my other cases or $549 in a padded gigbag. Again...shipped to the CONUS and Canada.

Last up is a project, this one's the Yamaha 1221M Pacifica. Not to be confused with the junk Yamaha's been putting out for the last 10 years or so, these upper end Pacificas from the early 90's were easily the equal of ANYTHING out there in the shredder category from this era. Now the issues.......neck pup needs to be wired up,volume pot needs replacing, the collar the bar goes into needs to be replaced, the screws and pressure pads for the locking nut are missing, some brain surgeon put the 5 way switch in backwards, and lastly there was a good size chunk glued back into place on the back of the body.

The site fretsonthenet has all of the parts needed. As for the bar, the Edge bars are a perfect match for these trems. This one won't ever be a museum piece, but with a little effort it'll be a real solid and unique player. Steal it for $250 shipped to the CONUS or Canada.

What kind of payment options do you accept? I'd be interested in the 565.

Hi John,
I've shipped overseas many, many times.....I'm more than allright with it. Considering the project nature of this one, I'd strongly suggest you letting me disassemble it for shipping. I've done this on several occasions with no problems. This will cut shipping cost considerably.

Off the top of my head, I'd say $325 shipped to the UK in this scenario.

Re: FS...RG-565/Zion Powerglide/Yamaha 1221M/ESP MII

I was able to get the fundage for the deal I mentioned in my first post,so now I'm open to trades for the Zion, ESP, and Yamaha. I'm gassing pretty hard for a Japanese LP. The usual suspects......Burny,Greco,Edwards,etc.

I'm also interested in the Charvel SD reissues, and of course MIJ Ibanez stuff. In addition to that, I'm in the market for a recording interface as well.

The ESP MII is gone.

The Yamaha 1221M is on hold.

Price drop on the Zion..................$799 shipped and insured to the CONUS and Canada.
