I thought I'd post here before going to an auction.
I have an RG550 body that has about half of the top finish chipped off, I was going to refinish it like a white Jem or something, but I'm way too deep in "From Scratch" projects and have two other RG550 projects I've already done.
Other than the finish, the structure and wood of the body is perfect. If you've wanted to do a custom RG550 project this is perfect for you.
I'll sell it for $40 shipped anywhere in the US.
The other body I got off an auction, it was advertised as an Ibanez RG, but after getting it, realized it was not. However the good news is that it is basswood and has pretty much the same body style as an RG. I decided to go freaky on it and streak painted it with multi colors (trying to mimic a Vai dipped finish) and then coated it with poly or something. It fits a Strat 21
fret neck or 22 fret with the
fret board overhang 25 1/2" scale length. I put a FRED and PAF Pro in it and it sounded great, however I acquired an old Roadstar body that I'm going to refinish in white to resemble a JS style. This RG clone is also set up with a floyd.
I'll let the clone go for $30 shipped in the US.
If someone wanted both, I'd even go $60 for both shipped together, US.
Also, I have a Washburn 22 fret 25 1/2" scale length maple/rosewood neck set up with a floyd nut, (tuners not included) for sale as well. $50 shipped anywhere in the US.
I'll get pics posted for you guys tomorrow.
