NOTE: This Ibanez
RG7421 7-string is possibly for sale to UK buyers only. The reason I prefer to sell this in the UK is because it doesn't come with a case. I'll make sure it's packed well in plenty of bubble wrap and tough packaging but I wouldn't fully trust it when travelling for long distances by plane or anything. Alternatively, it could be de-strung, then the neck and body could be shipped in a smaller package. This probably makes the most sense. Make a post here if you want to arrange something and I'll consider it.
OK, on to the guitar itself... This lady needs a good home! I don't play much guitar nowadays and I don't like to see any guitar gathering dust. Here's your typical Ibanez RG7 with MIJ build quality and has an RG7621 Wizard neck. Currently strung with 10-13-17-26-34-44-60, it plays well. Originally, I had a tension optimized 9-12-16-24-32-44-59 custom set on there but I found that this guitar feels better with a slightly heavier gauge, even though the scale length is 25.5". This is coming from a 9's player for the last 28 years or so, too.
It has a couple of minor dinks to the paintwork but they are all in concealed areas and cannot be noticed unless up very close. There are no stress cracks around the neck-to-body joint, nor are there are any dinks on the front of the body, and from a couple of feet away the guitar looks to be in excellent condition.
The main point I should mention is that I removed a kill-switch which was in there when I bought it. Since this has been taken out, there is drill hole between the volume and tone knobs. This was temporarily covered with a black vinyl sticker as I had plans to put a custom pickguard on here, so it wasn't an issue to me.
This is a players guitar in good condition. I would be awesome with a fret dress but there's still many years left in the frets. Speaking of which, I polished them with 0000 grade steel wool when I first got the guitar. With a recent cleanup they are still shiny and fast.
I'm looking around £200 straight + shipping, which seems like a fair price considering the current market prices for Ibanez 7's. As I mentioned before, contact me or make a post if you would like to arrange some kind of shipping arrangement. Cheers!
