FS: serious guitar rig-Hughes & Kettner,Lexicon,Avatar,Mesa

I'm getting too old and play too little to have this much cool guitar gear sitting around... I'm downsizing (considerably!). Everything is in excellent condition and works great... just more than I need for jamming around the house.

http://studio.naughtybutterspoon.com/hkrig.jpg

Hughes & Kettner Triamp II -- 6 channel amp with 9 preamp tubes and 4 EL34's for 100w, optional MIDI switching module included, switchable series/parallel FX loop, red box DI out, blue neon/plexiglass front, includes 7-button footswitch $2400

Hughes & Kettner zenTera -- modeling amp w/ 17 models & various FX (chorus, flange, tremolo, phaser, delay, reverb, chorus, wah, overdrive)--the best sounding, best feeling modeling amp available--100w/channel stereo, MIDI switching, more blue neon $1400

Lexicon MPX-G2/R1 -- guitar preamp/FX unit w/ MIDI controller--everything you could possibly need in one rack space $750

Avatar 4x12 cabs -- one with Vintage 30's, one with G12H30's (make a great pair--the V30's have higher mids and the H30's have lower mids, resulting in a nice round overall tone), 8 ohm cabs, have silver grilles $325 each or $600/both

Mesa Mark III -- 3-channel 1x12 combo, purple stripe, 200w EV speaker, graphic EQ, simulclass, includes non-original footswitch $750

Located in the Cincinnati area... would prefer to work local deals if possible (esp. on the cabs), but will ship if necessary. Send me an e-mail if you've got questions on any of the gear.

Do you know what you're downsizing to? Do you already have the smaller "house jamming" rig? In other words, any trades? I've got an H&K Tube 50 that could be your "Jr. Triamp" and I sure would love that Boogie.

Just noticed this today... how dare you tempt me with more H&K gear!

Actually, I did already pick a small amp... a H&K Edition Tube 20... not quite as flexible as the Tube 50, but smaller and (theoretically) quieter.

Ahh, but the master volume on the Tube 50 is soooo gradual. You can achieve any volume level you want. It's like a long throw fader on a Midas board.

The 20's are good, but they don't have all the sounds that the 50 has. Anyway enjoy your regrets! LOL!

Are you looking for cash only or would you consider some trades? I have a 1987 rg 500 dy and a Jpm p4 I am considering getting rid of for some new gear.

Update... H&K zenTera has been sold.

Not really looking for any guitars in trade at this point, but thanks for the offer. (Actually, I just took a gig playing bass, so suddenly I'm in the market for bass gear)
