How good is the 7-string guitar book? Does it show advanced chords and things like that? I don't need anything on scales or what notes there are since I know all that.

Here's some helpful info...

7-String Guitar
http://static.keebali.com/jemsite.co...stringbook.htm
"Andy Martin is an Ibanez Endorsed Artist who has devoted himself to making the first 7-string guitar reference book. Thankfully, we can all benefit from his efforts and examination of the 7-string. As much as this book is an "instruction book", this is really more like the 7-string Bible. It's ninety-six pages are simply jam-packed with information. With this "encyclopedia", Andy offers you a systematic approach to the 7-string guitar. It's sheer magnitude almost overwhelms you with information, yet it provides for interaction and learning at the exact pace at which you feel comfortable. As you proceed from start to finish, the book would be useful for all levels of guitarists. From beginners to old-timers, there is something for everyone. I'll break down the contents of the 7-String book for you:

» Getting Started, Intro and How to Use this Book
» 7-string Chord Reference (30 pages)
» Chord Progressions (3 pages)
» Arpeggios (10 pages)
» Scales/Modes (25 pages)
» Riffs & Licks (6 pages)

The 7-string Chord Reference is where it all begins, and is just an amazing reference and collection of chords. Even the simplistic power chord reference will open up new voicings and different tones. You could stay with the chords and progressions for weeks or months, before digging deeper. This type of reference can surely help expand your musical horizons and provide inspiration and a spark for new ideas. It's priced to purchase NOW and belongs on your bookshelf. You've paid more for a bad lunch... I highly encourage you to support Ibanez Artists and get your copy of the 7-String Book today... glen"
