FS: Sims Custom Shop Pearl White Double Cut

This guitar up for sale now. Its pretty much complete. I will be finishing up the final touches. It still needs the truss rod cover put on and set up then she'll be ready to go.

This is one of the 1st Sims Custom Shop guitars, and it is the 1st Pearl White one we've done on a SCS guitar. Its bright white and also has a gold pearl over it that gives it a nice subtle shimmer when held in the right light. This guitar has the absolute best of everything. Below is a list of some of the features of this guitar.

Its got an absolute stunning, flawless slick as glass paint job on it, that is a custom pearl white w/ gold pearl that is one of a kind. The gold pearl goes very nicely w/ the gold hardware. Guitar had not been buffed in the pictures so it shows some slight texture but it is now wet sanded and buffed.

This guitar being one of the 1st produced will have an extremely low serial # which also will surely add to its collectability value later down the road.

I donestly don't think you'll find a better made guitar anywhere in the world.....regardless of price....as good sure, but I would dare to say no guitar is going to be any better. These guitars are CNC'd to within 1/1,000,000th of an inch to specs. Attention has been spent on every detail of this guitar and it shows.....if you've seen my paint jobs you know I'm a perfectionist in everything I do, and my SCS guitars are no exception. Top notch woods, top notch hardware, top notch fit & finish.

SCS..... is the white/gold pearl similar to the Harley Davidson color? The wife's scooter is in black pearl and the white/gold pearl and it's just gorgeous! A guitar done in the white/gold pearl, that's gotta be nice!

Oh, this guitar can also be direct mount or have pickup rings, whichever you prefer.

Hmmmm, can't say for sure b/c I'm not really familar with the harley color. This is a primary white, which has no other colors added to it, so it straight white, and very clean and bright, then has a very light dusting of gold pearl over it. Depending on how you hold it the guitar looks primarily white, but you can see the gold pearl shimmering on the edges. Its VERY classy looking and looks nice with the gold pearl.

On the Harley color you can only see the gold where (when) light shines on it. Otherwise it just looks like a white pearlescent. Almost like a flip flop.

Thats exactly how this color is.....it looks white but wherever there is a glare you see a slight shimmer of gold. I would say they are probably going to be very bery similar since I use PPG paint and thats what comes on Harley-Davidsons from the factory. Its not going to be exact b/c there has got to be a difference in the amount of pearl used, type of gold pearl etc but I would be willing to say that their going to be close.

I've had a few questions about the Dimarzio Super 3. The Dimarzio Super 3 is an awesome sounding pickup. Its the same pickup used by Phil Collen from Def Leppard (sp?)

This is what Dimarzio's website says about it.....

Think of the Super 3 as a Super Distortion® with more mid-range grind and chopped treble. If you play your amp with scooped mids and intense overdrive, this is your pickup. The Super 3's smooth highs allow you to turn up your amp's treble and presence without fear of thinning out your sound, and the crunchy mids ensure you won't get lost in the mix. It's also a great pickup to use with distortion pedals--it drives them hard and allows full use of their tone controls.

Recommended For: The Super 3 is primarily a bridge position pickup. Specifically designed for solid-bodies; hollow and semi-hollow guitars can be hard to control with warm, high output pickups.

Tech Talk: The Super 3 has been getting the reputation for being a real workhorse for heavy metal. The top end is very dark (especially for a high-output pickup), but the low end isn't real muddy, so you can turn both bass and treble controls up on your amp to get both scream and crunch.
