For sale, or trade for an Ibanez JS1000:
2005
Fender Stratocaster '62 reissue "crafted in Japan". Specs as follows.
- Basswood body in vintage white
- Slim 62 "C" profile maple neck w/rosewood 'board (7.25" radius)
- Vintage
tremolo bridge w/steel block and Fender stamped saddles
- USA Vintage staggered pole alnico V pickups
Has been professionally refretted with Dunlop 6150 (medium jumbo) fretwire, the wire used on American Series strats. I don't get on with skinny vintage style frets and this guitar plays so much better with medium jumbos. Sound-wise, it's a peach. Lovely full, smokey tones and some nice funky sounds in the hum-cancelling positions (2 and 4).
The guitar is in immaculate condition with no scrapes or dings whatsoever and is currently setup for 0.010s with the trem locked down (using spring tension only, no blocks).
