Hey all! I recently bought
this one from 7 Strings of Hate at ss.org (just a couple weeks ago.) I've been playing on it a bit and decided it wasn't for me. I'm having trouble with 27" scale, no face inlays, and getting used to the trem XD Overall it's a solidly built guitar for the price, but there are some issues:
1. As it is an early-model Interceptor, the trem route is too close. What this means is when you dive, the springs rub up against the wood of the body, making them bind and not keeping the trem in tune. This is easily fixable: just sand out the cavity about a quarter inch and it should be fine. I haven't done it because I don't feel comfortable removing the trem.
2. The wiring scheme is a bit faulty. The Volume is wired to the tone knob, the volume knob and coil tap aren't wired at all. I have no experience with wiring/soldering so I didn't fix it, but it seems like an easy enough fix.
Those are the only two issues that affect playability. The guitar is nice, the neck is a little thicker than an Ibanez one but by no means uncomfortable. The pickups sound great, with lots of bite (especially the Evo7). The trem works nice and flutters well as long as you don't dive too low with the aforementioned spring issue. All in all a good, reliable instrument that just needs some TLC.
Pictures are in the thread I linked to (the ones 7stringsofhate took). The guitar looks identical to those. I will take more pictures to show the few scratches and paint imperfections for the sake of completeness. My camera's being borrowed right now :noplease:
References are only 7 strings of hate, there on ss, who I bought it from. My dad's **** account is

I'm looking to get
$300 plus shipping for it, because I need the money and it's in the same exact condition I got it in. Drop me a PM or email and discuss with me
