This is for a used 50 watt
Marshall DSL 50 Head, with some intense hot-rodding and New (less than 10 hours) Ruby Power and Preamp tubes.
If you are at all unfamilar with Voodoo Amps, visit their website at voodooamps.com, and check out the Marshall DSL Deluxe Mod. Basically, they upgraded the output transformer, tuned/modded some circuts and gave it a full retube (power and pres). This cost me about $900 with all the shipping (i had to ship it twice!)
I sent it out because while I liked the tones, I wasn't enjoying the excessivly fizzy top end and wimpy low mids and bass. The gave it back to me with all that and more. What I'm gonna miss the most is the clean channel...amazing for jazz/funk/pop and blues. Dial in the desired amount of grit(or not), and it's right on. The overdrive is awesome with humbuckers, but as I am a 3 single coil start player, it was a little too bright for me.
The head is in very good shape, with a few things to note. Some tolex nicks basically. I've gone through 3 footswitchs, they all busted. I believe the amp cover is around here somewhere, 99% sure. But...I HAVE A NEW CAMERA!!! So if you want pictures, just email. I'm selling it because of financial difficulties and because I can really only manage to have have a combo right now. Looking for $850 Shipped anywhere to the lower 48. Might seem expensive for a used DSL50, but its really a hell of a deal. Pay with PayPal, I'll drop it down to $800. Will also take anything you got, but it has to clear before I ship.
