FS: Various in the UK (int. ship is fine)

FS – Fender Champ.

This is one of the ‘Red Knob’ models. An all-valve combo with a 12” speaker.

Now I won’t lie – the gain channel is pretty rubbish!! However, this amp’s strength lies with its clean channel. With my Les Paul through this, it is the most gorgeous sound I get from any of my amps!! It nails that ‘just breaking up’ sound, and a decent compressor or overdrive is just what it needs to kick it truly into the red.

I would say this combo wouldn’t be loud enough to gig with unless you’re a blues/jazz band with a quieter drummer. Of course, you could always just run some effects through.

I’ll upload a demo onto Youtube if anyone’s interested – just let me know if this would be helpful!

£120 is the asking price.

FS - Ibanez RG parts

Now I would sell this as a whole guitar, but one screw on the body doesn't quite line up with the neck, so I don't think it will get any interest.

Body - If someone could post the model, it would be great. It's a hardtail, red/black flamed maple top with cream binding, and with all the electronics and 'designed by EMG' pickups. Nearly mint. No dings or anything, and beautiful to look at. One spring on the bridge is different from stock. - £55 ono. I reckon £10 shipping should cover it.

Neck - Japanese neck from a 570, absolutely gorgeous. Thin as hell, beautiful finish, slight fret wear that doesn't affect fretting. Matte-silver Grovers included on this. The locking nut is there, but without the clamps themselves. Wonderful neck. - £90 ono. £5 for shipping and I'll cover any additional cost.

FS - Roland TS 505 - A rarity. Anyone interested will know everything they need to about this. Good condition. Includes power supply. £40 plus £6 shipping.

I'll upload pics later tonight. If anyone wants any specifics, PM me. Also, if anyone wants me to hold an item, pending pics, PM me!

If anyone feels any prices are excessive, please point this out so I can revise them!

Dan

Danny,

I waited for days for the photos (which could be understandable) but I also PM'd you yesterday asking whether or not PayPal was ok and my own courier for collection. You still haven't got back to me despite being online and posting in some of the threads as well as having the cheek to tell somebody to revise their price in the classifieds (even though there was nothing wrong with the asking price, but that's irrelevant.)

All it would've took is 2 minutes to reply with either "Yes that's fine, here's my PayPal e-mail" or "No sorry, *blah blah blah* etc,"

Sounds like you have a RGR421 body, but pictures will reveal all.

Re: FS: Various in the UK (int. ship is fine)

Hi Dave,

I feel an apology and some explanations are in order.

Firstly, sorry for my negligence in correspondence.

The situation is as follows.

I was offered a very good deal on a guitar, and so advertised some of my gear out of necessity.

Unfortunately, it seems as though this deal may have fallen through, meaning that I would much prefer to keep the RG, for £125 as I am no longer in need of a sale.

Which leaves me with two options – either I inform you of this, and seem like a complete idiot who retracts offers, or sell the guitar to you and lose a great player for not a particularly great price.

Either way, I would look a bit stupid. I didn’t want to do either, as I did not want to make a further retraction if the guitar for sale became available again – that would just be messing you around.

HOWEVER (yes, there’s more!) I am still not sure whether I can buy the seller’s guitar or not – it all depends on him really. So I still do not know whether I need to sell the RG.

So I do sincerely apologise, but hope you can understand my dilemma somewhat. I realise that it was particularly immature not to keep you ‘in the loop’, as it were.

Regards,

Dan
