I have a Zion
Radicaster that I just got back from Zion for a complete rebuild, fret level/polish, hardware replacement, elec. work etc.
I have the receipt from all of the work done. This alone cost me $811.00 to have done. The guitar orig. had all chrome hardware and it was very rusty. The guitar was structurally sound though with not much wear other than the hardware being rusty and old (tuners, bridge, nut knobs, etc.)
I replaced the
Floyd with an Orig Floyd Rose in black. All pickups were replaced with two emg hz single coils in neck and middle and an orig. Zion labeled humbucker pickup that I had Dave at Zion put in there for me (he found it in a stockroom while I had the guitar there being setup). All electronics were redone. Phil Keaggy mod done to volume control (basically allows for easier swells). Zion grip on trem arm (cannot find these any more). I wanted to do away with the double locking system so I had them put an Ebanol nut and Schaller locking tuners (black). This worked perfectly! The guitar stays in tune just as well as the double locking system, but without all the hassle. Complete fret level and polishing. Pickguard was buffed to as new condition. Guitar was also professionally re-buffed and polished by zion.
After all these mods, the guitar came back to me better than I ever could have imagined. I will include the orig. hard shell case. I literally just paid for it and got it back about two weeks ago, but due to circumstances that have happened since I sent it to them for the work, over two months ago, I can no longer keep it. Funny how things can change in a couple of months time.
Anyway... I will post pics tonight of the guitar. I am asking $900.00 shipped to anywhere in the USA. thanks!
PM through Jemsite please.
