FT: PRSs, Ibanez, Fender, Melancon, Jackson lots in Aus,US, UK

Once a year I usually put a trade post up to see what is out there!! I have ben particularly bad this year, so I am a little more motivated move a few things than in previous years! I have also pretty much rested on a few brands.... PRS for set-necks, Suhr for bolt-ons, late 80' early 90's Ibanez for Floyd equipped rockers.... with maybe the odd old fender tucked in there!! So I was going to move some of the others and a few things I have double-ups on!

I prefer trades, as I like to see what is out there, plus the Aus $ is sooo strong against the US and UK! So I will see what pops up for trade. If nothing comes up in a week or two I will post some sale prices as per forum rules, but I like to exhaust trade options!!

For those of you who don't know I am now living and working in Australia... but I am originally from the UK, then I grew up in then moved back to the UK before moving here... as a result I do have some guitars in the UK and US as well as here.

Shipping to most places is fine.... trades +or- cash are fine, 2 for 1, 1 for 2 all good!!

Things I like:
PRS - Especially Private Stock!
Ibanez Jems - Especially swirls
Suhr Guitars
50-early 60's Fenders
That's what I prefer but always interested to see other things out there!

First up:

An Ibanez Jem77BRMR - Mirror Jem... this is such a cool guitar but I don't play the locking trem guitars as much and prefer to collect the older jems, and I added 2 Multicolors from Gilky and the Vai tour bus fire guitar to the collection recently so I am looking to move this one. Plastic still on the guard, factory strings, strummed maybe twice as I had more than one. Uber Cool!

next My Melancon... this one is in the US and I wont be shipping it back over here. Stunning looking and playing instrument. These guys build magnificent guitars! This is an Early NAMM Showpiece. 5A Maple Top, 1 piece Swamp Ash back (Gerard Melancon gets the finest Swamp Ash anywhere!). this used to belong to a country artist and was on a few of his albums and the cover of another. Lovely, but I won't be shipping it over... unless someone in the UK or Aus wants to trade!!!

My Early Jackson PC1. I got this from friend who was friends with the Jackson Custom Shop Manager... but to make the story short, this is an awesome early Custom Shop Jackson, that blows away the current production version!! The current production version is nice with its mahogany back, AAA Maple top and flame board.... but this one has a 5A Maple top, a KOA back, and just about the nicest maple fretboard you will ever see... it is quilted maple too... stunning playing guitar... factory fitted sustainer and harmonic exciter and all kinds of thinsg I am woefully under equipped to exploit. It doesn't have a wafer thin neck like most rock guitars, it is bigger, so if you are into more traditional guitars, but looking to rock out, this might be for you!!! I have had this up in the past, but I am more motivated to trade this now, I play the suhrs and the old Jems more and this has become a case queen... another crime!

I love this strat... I waited so long to find the right FMT to pop up! This was a special run for I think a Japanese store, and they occasionally pop up here in Aus, but rarely in the US. Accoding to the original owner "A 57/62 FMT... US Vintage Series 62 neck and US Vintage Series FMT'd 57 body" I have 2 complete fully wired pickguiards with pick-ups with this one. There are Suhr Pickups in an at the moment the other pick-up assembly has what I assume are the original pups, the guitar is drilled to take both 50s and 60s style guards. Sorry I am a bit sketchy on the details, but I was not the original owner, and the orignal owner. A beauty though.... but I just got a vintage strat that now takes its place... so looking to swap for some thing nice!!

Singlecut Trem Rosewood - Another great PRS guitar going because of recent Private Stock sister acquisitions!! Limited Run Rosewood neck with a super straight grain! Mahogany Back with Quilt maple top. It has a great effect... from some angles it looks almost like a plaintop, but then form others the quilt really pops out.. hard to show in direct pics, the couch shot shows the quilt best where i haven't taken a direct pic of it

I also have a PRS SE Custom in Sunburst, brand new that was part of a deal, that I won't be shipping over... it is still in the US, over at Gilky's house, I will get him to take some pics when he is back form shooting practice and post later on....

The next two PRS would only go for some thing really sweet!!

Employee Guitar CU24 Rosewood neck, one piece maple top in Matteo Blue. Literally brand new.. I am only listing it as it is still in the US and I might be able to tease something nice out of the woodwork!!
