Guitars for sale (Ibanez, Schecter, Taylor)
I am a regular at the Seymour Duncan boards (where I have over 4k posts), and a poster there recommended I list these here as well. You can also check my **** feedback if you like, under the name ajaxmac. After two bouts with G.A.S. this past week, the time has come to sell some gear. I'm selling my Schecter C1+, Taylor Big Baby, and Ibanez JS600.
First up, the Schecter. As I said before it's a C1+, in charcoal burst. I've not come across many C1's in this color, and is the only one I've actually seen in person. It's got a pair of
Duncan Pearly Gates
in it, and I've also had
Sperzel locking tuners
installed and replaced the tailpiece with a Tonepros w/ locking studs and graphite saddles. There are a couple of dings/knicks here and there, nothing drastic by any means, the frets are in good shape, etc. Probably the worst thing cosmetically is on the back of the headstock. The stock Grovers used two set pins, and the Sperzels only use one and didn't cover the leftover hole.
I'd like to start out asking $500 shipped, OHSC included.

Next up is the Ibanez JS600. I've only had this a few months, and was planning on slapping a new neck on it, dropping new pickups in, etc. The Bill Lawrence pickups I was going to install have been claimed seperately, so unfortunately there are currently no pickups in the axe. On the positive side, that means I can sell it for a couple hundred dollars less. Again, there's nothing out of the ordinary wrong with the axe, a bit of swirling that's typical with gloss black guitars, some light buckle rash, frets are in great shape (especially considering the guitar is over 10 years old). EDIT: I forgot to mention that I had Sperzels installed on this as well, and also stuck Graphtec saddles on it.
How is $250 shipped w/ gig bag?

Lastly, the Taylor Big Baby. I got this as a graduation gift in the summer of 2001, and it's served me without issue since then. Surprisingly loud and full for being slightly below standard dreadnought size. All mahogany w/ satin finish (I was told by the shop not to use any kind of chemical polish, so it's always just been wiped down w/ a soft cloth, except the ebony fretboard which occasionally gets lemon oil). There are a couple of small knicks that you can see in the pictures.
I'll start at $300 shipped w/ nice padded gig bag.
Also included are a strap, soundhole pickup, and a soundhole humidifier. More pics

I'll be listing these on other forums as well, but I'll keep all threads up to date.

Re: Guitars for sale (Ibanez, Schecter, Taylor)
Why is it that all the interesting offers are overseas, I don't get it.
Sorry if this post is of no use at all, good luck selling your guitars, the Schecter is really nice and I'd even take the JS600 as a backup guitar to my soon arriving JS6000 but shipping costs to Germany would raise the price too high.
Good decision listing on jemsite I wanted to say, originally. Lots of worthy people here.

Re: Guitars for sale (Ibanez, Schecter, Taylor)
Someone on the Duncan boards expressed interest a few hours ahead of you (I woke up to a flood of emails and private messages this morning lol). If that deal craters you're up next gnawblock.

Re: Guitars for sale (Ibanez, Schecter, Taylor)
I just plugged the Schecter in to play it for a bit, and the
bridge pickup
was making no noise at all. I checked all the wiring and took a multimeter to the guts, and the best I can figure is that the volume pot died. So, I can either drop the price to $425 shipped or go get it fixed and relist it next week or so.

Re: Guitars for sale (Ibanez, Schecter, Taylor)
After thinking it over, I'm going to go ahead and take the Schecter in to get looked at. If you're interested go ahead and let me know, I should be able to have it back and ready to ship by the end of this week or early next.

Re: Guitars for sale (Ibanez, Schecter, Taylor)
Alright, deal fell through on the Schecter so it's available again. Everything is back in working order. How's $475 shipped?

Nope, not interested in any trades. I just bought a Hamer and a new acoustic, so these are being sold to recoup funds. Thanks for the offer though.
To update, the Taylor is also sold. Price drop on the Schecter to $450 shipped.
