Here is some more info for everyone:
Up for bids is this wonderful Ibanez JS2PRM. I bought this guitar from Rich Harris of Ibanez Rules in July. This guitar has not even been plugged in and I haven't even put a wrench to it anywhere. It has stayed in my climate controlled guitar room from the minute I got it.
Rich had purchased this guitar and sent it straight to me. I am going to be very picky on how I describe it; as with any JS2 it always sounds worse then it is. Any cosmetic issues are from the factory.
The case has a slight bubble on the leather end on the top left side of the case. It seems that it wasn't pulled tight at the TKL factory before it was sown. Not a huge deal and hardly noticeable, but still worth mentioning.
All the original case candy is inside and the original shipping box is included. The stand has never been used; both TKL cards and the Ibanez warranty and inspection card are inside. Like the others, the Prestige owner's manual and tool bag are included, along with the pick guard that Ibanez sent with them. The only thing that this didn't come with was the warning letter from Ibanez about the fragile finish.
As for the guitar itself, there is some silver paint missing inside the truss rod hole. This was done at
Hoshino USA by the inspector before it left for the dealer. There are 3-4 very minor
clear coat scratches between the controls. These were there when I got it, and Rich had mentioned them to me before I bought it. Again, nothing major, but there. There are a handful of what I describe as "waterspots" in the finish and under the clear. These are very minor imperfections in the finishing process, and are common on the first 2 batches of JS2PRMs.
