Well, I thought I would try a little experiment here. I have found that I enjoy redoing Ibanez's as many here in the forum do. Its a nice escape to work on them for me. While I don't want to even attempt to get into this as any type of business, I thought I might try a trade in program of sorts. I have just redone a late 90's 570 AANJ in Flourescent Orange similar to the Ibanez color Carotene Orange from the late 80's. I know I won't get all my time and effort back out of this, but here we go anyway.
This body looks great if I do say so myself. It was sanded, primed, sprayed, cleared, sanded up to 2000g, and hand polished. It has a nice glassy shine. You could probably get a little better shine if you buffed it again with a machine, but I don't have one. There is one little edge burn through, but its not very noticable, there are also two tiny chips near the neck pocket(from me putting the neck in to test fit).
I would like to get 150 plus another body to work on or 200 for a sale. +shipping
If you wanted to trade bodies my requirements would be 570 aanj, 520 aanj, 550 aanj with pickguard, for now I don't want any square heels cuz I don't have any spare necks for them, but that will probably change. Although, I would take a 540p or p2 as well. Obviously, the body could have nicks, dings, worn paint, ect. Just nothing with wood chunks missing or large cracks in the neck pocket or trem stud area.
I do NOT want any 4xx or lower, S series, etc.
