You are looking at a truly one of a kind 1991 Reb Beach Ibanez Voyager. In the very sought after Metallic Red, this guitar is in EXTREMELY good condition. The guitar doesn't have a chip or scratch on it anywhere. There is virtually no pitting on the gold, which is pretty hard to find. The tuners and all the rest of the hardware look pretty much like new as well. The guitar is 100% original from how it came from the factory, with the original pickups etc....Still has the paper protective cover still on the input jack
cavity cover. Several things make this guitar very unique. #1, its the ONLY ONE I've ever seen with a mirror gold Ibanez logo like....the white JEM's are the only ones I've seen with a gold Ibanez logo...but this one has one....and its not a sticker, so that makes the guitar VERY RARE. The 2nd super cool thing about this guitar is that I had it personally autographed by Reb Beach and
Doug Aldrich back stage after the Whitesnake show in Atlanta, GA in 2005. Below is a picture of the event with me holding this guitar with Reb Beach & Doug Aldrich...not only do I have a copy of this picture but it can also be found on Reb Beach's website in his Fan Gallery. I met Uriah Duffey (Whitesnakes Bass Player) before the show at the bar, I showed him the guitar and told him I was going to ask Reb & Doug to sign it after the show b/c I had back stage passes. He said "Hey man, we can take it to him right now & have him sign it!" So I was like cool. So he signed the guitar, the the really cool thing was so I wouldn't have to hold it during the concert they put it up on stage and kept it with the rest of Reb's guitars. I met him again after the show, talked to him & Doug a little bit, got the guitar back and took a few pictures. I also still have the gold paint pen he used to sign it with, which will also come with the guitar.
I took the strings & neck off so it would be easier to carry at the show. After being signed I bolted the neck back on but I have NEVER played it since. Thats why it doesn't have strings on it in the picture. Its never been re-strung & played since they signed it in 2005.....it stays in the case. This guitar is probably the most special guitar I have b/c its the only time I've ever got to meet two Rock Stars (who were super nice guys by the way) and had a guitar signed. The guitar has so much sentimental value to me. But, I have found my dream home, and I really need to come up with as much money as possible for a down payment. I'm having to sacrifice & let go of some of my most prized posessions in order to get this. I hope it goes to a good home.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. Neck is dead straight, very little fret wear, all electronics etc work perfectly. Guitar plays & sounds so awesome. This wil be the ONLY time I list it, if it doesn't sell I will keep it. I wil lnot take any less for it...actually its worth more to me than this & its hard for me to even let it go at this price. Comes with hardshell case
Thanks for looking
