Last one in the debt reduction/guitar solidation/clean out. It is a sweet RG-550EXGK with a Lo-Pro Edge. The guitar is galaxy black and the hardware is cosmo black. It plays incredible and is loaded with a Steve's Special in the bridge and a PAF Joe in the neck. The single coil is the Ibanez S1 but I took the lettering off the cover. Comes in molded M100 case. I also have a
Tone Zone that I can put in the bridge if you prefer, or a PAF Pro in the neck, your choice.
The good stuff, the hardware is excellent, only some very, very minor wear on the low E saddle. The neck is excellent, the frets are very good, some wear but probably about 90% or better left, no need for a re-fret, maybe a
fret level if you are really anal, but I have the action pretty low and it plays great. And of course, the pickups are killer.
The bad is minimal, but the body has quite a few nicks in the paint around the edges from a previous owner, which he touched up. While alot of them go through the paint, the wood isn't hurt at all. The smoked mirror pickguard has wear in the picking area, but still looks sexy.
If it weren't for the edge nicks, it would be in EX+ condition, and they sound worse than they are. I'll probably regret selling this one but I really only need a couple of guitars...
