I just went through the parts graveyard and found some project parts that I've since decided to abandon. I always liked the H-S-H configurations of my Jems and wanted to put a similar 7-string together, but never got to do it. Soooo, my loss is your gain, haha.
Back when I had my 7620's I bought this body (alder) to do a custom project from Sims Custom Shop. It has the lion's claw, monkey grip routed in like a Jem and direct mount pickup/control cavities routed in like a 7620. IIRC, this body was produced on a CNC machine. I had checked the fitment of the cavity covers from one of my 7620's without screwing them in and the fitment was spot on. The neck mounting holes are there, but the strap button, spring claw and all screw holes will have to be drilled, which is no big deal. The body was never mounted to a neck, but from comparing the mounting points to my 7620, it looks to be on as well. The pickup was bought new and never mounted and has full lead as shown.
