This guitar is in GREAT shape. The paint is still bright and hasn’t seemed to fade really. The pick guard is a nice add. There are just a few (4 or 5) dings in the body most can be covered by a pencil tip. The back of the neck still has the finish on it, but the fretboard is either a bit dirty or a bit worn - which is typical. There are 2 small neck pocket cracks (again typical), but they aren’t going anywhere. And of course the back of the neck with the small crack again typical for 550’s.
The tuners have some wear of the paint, and the tremolo has a bit of wear, but overall, this guitar is one of the nicest used 550’s I’ve seen. The volume control, truss rod, locking nut, tremolo, tuners etc all work fine. The only thing is the tone pot may need replacement. It sounds like it’s always on 10, which was fine by me, since I never really used the tone on guitars anyway.
