Soloway Guitars at Long Island Classic American Guitar Show
The Classic American Guitar Show will be held at the Sports Plus Events Center in Lake Grove, Long Island, NY next weekend (May 21&22). I'll be there with a bunch of our guitars and our new signature model amp by Fargen.
The Soloway Classic amp is all tube, all clean, and 37lbs, so for the New York players looking for warm and clean, here's a chance to try one in person. There will also be one of the amps at the show's Jazz Bar, so there will be an opportunity to hear some of the finest jazz players in the New York area through one of the amps.
I'll also have several of our guitars with me. At the moment the plan is for about five 6-strings, plus my own 7-string, so for anyone who's been wondering how the longer scale length of a Swan feels, now is the chance to find out.
Here are a few of the guitars that should be at the booth.

that's great Jim...good luck at the show . I would love to see some pics of the Soloway booth.
Just out of curiosity, how are you getting the guitars and amps across the country? Do you have a safe place to ship them?

Other than my own guitar, I shipped everything last week to my brother's place in New Jersey and then I'll drive it out from there. Without that, I'm not sure how I'd be able to do it.
BTW, I'm sending you a brochure just for kicks.

Jim,
I'm impressed and excited for you and your company- you're right on the cusp of greatness with your products. I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger on one of your guitars yet, but the third pic in honey maple has stolen my heart.
You have excellent ads in the guitar rags and the buzz is all positive.
We wish you the best....

Re: Soloway Guitars at Long Island Classic American Guitar Show
Thanks for the brochure Jim...I can't wait to see it
What issue of Guitar Player is the Soloway ad in? I just flipped through may 2005 and didn't see it....I should get the june issue soon, maybe it's in there.
If you want to take another Swan with the correct # of strings
....I would be happy to meet you along the New Jersey turnpike somewhere, or even ship mine to your brother......just a thought

Thanks. I sure hope you're right about the cusp of greatness. We have a major review coming in a couple weeks and I'm hoping that pushes the envelope a bit.
And just for the record, that's much more interesting than honey maple. That's quilted mahogany. It's actually cut from the same board as my personal guitar and it's an incredible piece of wood.
