WTB/Barter - RG 24 fret neck (old school neck joint)

Preferably from an RG7xx series and with a maple fretboard. Not overly picky about condition of frets, but definitely must be straight and with fretboard in tact.

Willing to pay a modest amount or if there's something you are looking for, I might have a trade.

I have an RG 550 neck maple.... its a 1992 neck.. theres fretwear but it still plays great.. its got the old school joint... What do you have for trade? also what would you be willing to pay, I really have no idea.. Thanks

Hmm, I did some research and it seems these necks are worth more than I would have thought.

Looks like it is worth $150-200 and I was hoping to pay a lot less. Sorry.

Ill swap you it for a Ibanez neck (I believe from a RG3xx) with original neck joint. It is a 22 fret neck, and frets 12-22 have been deeply scallopped by a tech friend of mine. The neck profile has also been thinned and flattened, to be more jem like. Originally, it was bulkier at the 1st and 22 fret, than the middle. I basically lowered these ends to the height of teh middle. I told my friend to make it look unique, so he sanded the black and logo off the headstock and shaped the thing to look sorta like a old fashioned can opener; It looks WILD! Anyway, i have yet to come across a 22 fret body ( for cheap or free) and i have have two 24 fret bodies waiting for a neck.
