Re: WTB: Maxxas

Are you interested in paying a premium for a new old stock one with papers, or do you want one in players condition?

Re: WTB: Maxxas

Players condition is fine. Guitars are meant to be played.

There's currently a Maxxas on evil*bay. 7320938852
Story of $1525 deal is bogus. I bid on that auction but didn't win. Later the so-called seller contacted me that highest bidder couldn't complete the transaction. (Probably because seller was highest bidder to begin with!!!).
All questions on guitar during bidding were unanswered. Further pics of guitar couldn't be provided. Whole auction was fishy.

Last other Auction on the evil*bay was $700 no offers deal, and 400 Euro deal on Italian Maxxas.

Hi, I'm new here and saw this thread. I'm in Holland and the $1525 Maxxas you are talking about was first offered on a Dutch site. I contacted the seller to ask him about the condition. He replied that the guitar was fine. After that I asked for some more pictures and I was ready to bid. Never heard of him again. Few days later it was on evilbay. So indeed a fishy auction imho.

Good luck finding one. I own a Maxxas MX2 (mintgreen). Lovely guitars.

Same deal here. Saw guitar on markplaats.nl. Contacted seller and asked what he had in mind for guitar. Never got reply back. Within days guitar disappeared from marktplaats.nl and appeared on evilbay. Contacted seller again. No response.

Currently funny to see people using this $1525 auction to possibly fetch higher price for their offerings.

Re: WTB: Maxxas

That particular $1525 Maxxas was recently re-listed on the bay and fetched $1450. Hope seller knows what he is doing.

Original seller of Maxxas contacted me few weeks ago. Asked if I was still interested. After all the BS concerning this guitar I asked him for some proof if he had actually had the guitar. Lot's of blablabla from seller, but no proof.

Interested to find out if guitar actually would arrive at new owner.

And $1450 for Maxxas seems bit much......or is Maxxas having sudden revival.

Re: WTB: Maxxas

yeah I was hoping to get that maxxas that went for 1450 myself. Somebody sure paid dearly for it. It was at 310 or something like that forever, I had just looked at it again the other day, then refreshed my browser and it just shot up to 1200 something, and then 1450 and pretty much stayed there for the last day. Apparently everybody else looking at it decided not to bid too.

Yeah, noticed the Maxxas was relisted with some story added about the first auction being sabotaged or whatever. Also noticed that it was on aprox. 310 dollars for quite some time and then suddenly up to $1450. I hope the seller can be trusted and the buyer (if he actually is real) will get it.
I would never pay $1450 for a MX-3. Maxxas' are realy great and unique guitars but never worth that kind of money. Well acually I think most used guitars are payed too much for.
Anyway, if the buyer is out here it would be nice to know if he got it or not!
