WTB: RG770 Original or Reissue

Hey Guys,

Been browsing anon for a while now. I haven't seen any ads for the guitar I've been after. Looking for a rg770! I'd prefer the violet or blue models vs the red. If anyone has one available that isnt too beat up (minimal dings, scratches) I would be interested in hearing what you'd like for them. Original or reissue is fine... love those colored inlays! Prolly offering somewhere between 750 - 1250$. Thanks!

Your looking for a DX model then??? maple board/body colored inlays..........

I have several 7xx guitars, but none with those specs. All mine are rosewood boarded.......PM if your interested in one of these.

Yes Sir,

I love rosewood on all my other guitars. This would be my first maple board, and as you picked up on, the colored inlays are what do it for me. I appreciate the reply and clarification on model.

I have an Original RG770DX in Blue that I've beenon the fence about selling for a while now.
It looks like new except for a small chip on the edge of the body that was there when I bought the guitar in 1991 or 92.
The cosmo hardware is mint as well.

The fretboard is made of a real nice piece of flame maple.

I replaced the stock pickups because the stunk.
I put Blue Dimarzios in it so it still looks stock.
Now it has an Air Zone in the Bridge, an Air Norton in the Neck and a Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues 2 in the Middle.

It has a nice hardshell case.

I have the purple one I am also on the fence about selling, it's rare because it's the only one they didn't reissue, and other than some oxidation on the pickguard screws, it's mint, original case and paperwork. PM if interested in price.
