I recently came across a good deal on a jem, so I am selling one of my axes to make up the difference =)
I got this guitar from Ibanezcollector a few months back. We swapped straight across for my ex-7421. Brett is known here on jemsite for his modding and did some nice upgrades to this axe which make it play and sound much better than a stock model. I have used it for down-tuning and learning some newer songs and the guitar kicks ass. Personally, I love the tone PAF pro's give, and this baby has 2 of them =)
The guitar is Transparent Purple, but it looks more like it’s a dark blue in person. It has a flamed maple top and matching colored headstock that is also flamed. The body is mahogany. The last 4 frets are scalloped for easier fretting.
Both stock pickups were replaced with
Dimarzio PAF Pros and the pickups are painted white. They show signs of flaking but can be touched up with white paint. The control knobs and
pickup selector switch were replaced with white versions. The bridge has been blocked which makes down-tuning a breeze. The guitar sounds great for damn near any kind of music your heart desires.
I do not have a case for this guitar, but I will pack it very carefully and will purchase insurance out of my own pocket for the protection of both parties. If you would like it shipped in a case, I will have to order one (at buyers pre-paid expense) and have it shipped to me. I have no problem doing this if the buyer wants it cased.
My price is $250 + $35 shipping. If the shipping cost is lower, I will refund the buyer the excess. I will ship USPS priority, so you can expect to get it in 2-3 days. I have 7 positive feedbacks on jemsite and almost 90 on the bay. I will take paypal on this one and eat the fees. USPS money order is also accepted.
