Thought I'd seen those pics before:
http://cgi.****.co.uk/ws/****ISAPI.d...&category=2384
Someone putting up a dodgy auction by the looks of it, using the pics from the UK auction.
Cheers
Mark.

I'm thinking he may of meant it to be $100 or $1000 to start, but put too many "0"'s.

You're right......Maybe the BIDDER put too many "0"'s. His starting price was $55.00.

Sounds a little odd. There would have to be two bidders that screwed up their proxy bids. A $10,000 bid would only go through if there were one before it for $9,999.
Sounds like it may be a case of shill bidding.

Gotta watch those 0s. I once bid £50 for a Vai CD by accident, and didn't realise until 3 hours before the end of the auction!
Luckily the seller cancelled my bid for me!

Often times people who figure out an auction is a scam, and can't contact the bidders because it's kept private, will bid outrageous amounts to make sure the scammer doesn't get anything.

Except the hefty selling fee charges on their credit card.
