Re: 3775000160
Looks like a refin or someone put a Jem neck on a modded body.
Not a
production model
I'd guess.

Re: 3775000160
Obvious first reaction is repainted SK, DY or LNG with some new hardware, but the headstock doesn't look like it matches any of those original colors. Weird.

Re: 3775000160
I saw that one, and I wondered about it too. My guess is it has an original neck, but a repainted body. Looks alright from where I am though!

Re: 3775000160
Probably just a refinished 777.

Re: 3775000160
Just another JEM refinish. His comment of very rare color would either imply he's trying to pull a fast one or he was ripped off first.
The fact that there are no good pictures, no picture of the headstock close up, and the fact that the finish doesn't really look that good in the one picture even from that far away are giveaways that it's a refinish

Re: 3775000160
on closer inspection it looks like a pmc neck.. and a refinished 777 body could be anything (would need to pull the neck i guess).
at £650 i could get another SK imported ;-)

The pyramids are the wrong color for a PMC neck.

Re: 3775000160
That purple is the same as on early Korean RG450's. Purple Neon is the name of the color. Weird to repaint a Jem in RG450 colors. My bet is a modified RG450, and that neck is also probably a RG450 neck, with
pyramid inlays
. The Ibanez letters are white, as they are on the 450. It's thicker though, so this should be fairly easy to get out of the seller. Just make him measure the thickness of the neck.

Re: 3775000160
The headstock appears to be black, why would you do that to an SK neck? Odd all around.
