$944 shipping?


Anyone see that Js1000 that was on **** a few days ago that went for $300 buy it now but $944 shipping? You think the buyer realized this? Do people do this alot, sell things for cheap but add the extra cash onto the shipping? haha i was amazed at the low price and immediately thought scam but found out it had that much shipping.... some people! haha if you are a member of **** and can see ended listings check this out: 7308166327

There's one way to avoid closing percentage. If I was the bidder I'd definately turn this sucker in. [although expecting a new JS for $300 is mighty stupid anyway]

I'de guess the seller was either huffing rubber cement when he put that
up for bids or was counting on somebody seeing a JS for $300 and 'Buying
Now' not realizing the retarded shipping costs. Seems shadey. Why not
just set a high reserve price and a BIN price of $1244 ? Evilbay should
implement some code that disallows for a shipping costs that'r higher than
the max price on BINs on items over X amount of dollars...not that I care if
they're getting ripped off on closing costs...the `bay and pay"pal" are scum
anyway.

A definite candidate for the 'Auctions to Laugh at' thread mearly for the
goofy pricing/shipping.
