It's the real deal allright. the lo-pro trem is a dead give a way.

Not really a crack, more of a gouge, doesn't look like it would spread or get any worse like a crack could. I'd say go for it if you can get it for a good price, which you should be able to. It's the real deal.

Shotgun, I'm moving this thread and closing the other. Seems like you're pretty excited about the new guitar, which is totally understandable.
So, when you calm down a bit, read some of the forum rules and get acquainted with them. Some are a little more important than others, like this one:

definitely the real deal. Seems honest too. The fix wasn't done very nicely, but you can also refinish it at some point anyway, though you would eventually see how they fixed it. hopefully it wasn't a deep gouge.
