Bongo blowout

For some reason unknown to me, GC seems to be blowing out EBMM Bongo basses. These are AMAZING basses, with an incredibly wide tonal range.

For example, if you look up a Bongo 5 on the Internet you'll see they run about $1675. Most GCs with them are selling them right now between 950 (for the flat black, or 'stealth') to 1050 (for the candy blue and red). The 4 string Bongos are selling even lower.

If anyone is looking for a great bass at a steal of a price, get one before they're gone! It may be that GC is dropping EBMM, or it could be as simple as a color change. I don't think the Bongo is going anywhere, as they've just started taking orders on the 6 strings (the Myung bass). But again, the Bongo is a very easy to play, very high quality bass.

fwiw- I was in our local GC yesterday and they were talking about moving lots o' stuff around in order to get it the %@$# out (direct quote from floor manager to worker bee). Apparently, thanks to what sounded like quite a few discontinued items/ entirely dropped lines, the prices are about to go south in a big hurry...

Still, they won't let the 7vwh they got in before Christmas go below 2k, no matter how I beg...

If the Manhattan GC still has the red (or Lava Pearl or whatever it is) Bongo 5 on Thursday, it's coming home with me I've already secured permission from the Mrs!
