Unbelieveable, a lot of money, but i think it's o.k. for pristine condition.

13 years untouched under a bed = stored neck disease.

Do you know what? I hope this doesn't sell at that price, just for the simple fact that e-Bay will probably get flooded with beat up DY Jems all with outrageous asking prices. (That's not to say I don't think this one is worth it.)

I guess I don't have to buy them, but still

Re: Brand New Jem 777DY?

Tell me you don't know what that is?!

If nobody keeps up on truss adjustments it gets looser and looser as the neck shrinks, until it ends up in massive relief from the string tension. Now trained into massive relief, it'll backbow before it ever gets close to straight. Add in some typical scarf joint-itis which just adds more backbow at the nut, and you have a nearly unplayable s shape neck.

Nice for a case queen, but you won't be playing it unless it can be saved with a very deep cut, which may leave you almost no fret 2-4 and 20-24.

Well actually, I've heard it and heard it and thought I knew but wanted to hear it from Richipedia himself

What would be the preventative tip for that... leave the strings loose while stored?
