He speaks a little bit german and found my name on a german marketplace site where I searched for a JEM.

A few weeks ago he offered me a JEM 77 FP for 1200 EUR, yesterday (i renewed the search) offered me a BFP for about 1000 EUR.

The first time he used the email ahemeryl@yahoo.com, yesterday i recieved a mail from alhenerly@yahoo.com (nearly the same but not exactly).

He told me he wants to sell about 9 JEMs. The first time he contacted me i was scared of buying and he send me a list of references, I think he has registered all this adresses:

Over 15 email addresses internationally and not a single one of them is Hotmail.

He replied on an advertise I made where I looked out for a certain guitar.
He sent detailed pics and info. I was suspicious when he asked i f i can pay via western union. But after many mails I trusted this guy. I have some friends in argentina where I bought stuff before and payed with WU as well. Never had any probs. Well, I paid and guess the rest....no guitar.
I'm such an idiot to believe this guy!!! Well, lesson learned...:-(

After this happened I contacted a lawyer in Florianopolis to catch this
putrid apple but after a couple days he wrote me that this guy dosn't live at this adress. Even worse, this house nr. does not even exist...
So i treid to close this chapter and forget about his mess.

But now I found this greasy bastard making a new advertise.
I contacted him for a Gibson Les Paul he "sells" and pretending I am interested. And all the same song. Read:

I could hardly believe that he could go on this criminal way for so long
and so many people were that naive (including myself) to trust this guy.
He must have made a considerable amount of money meanwhile...
He is expecting me to pay this amount until moday (which I will not of course). Somebody said this dirtbag is reading this forum too? Maybe there is something we can do to track him down?

On the 31st of May I was cruising around this Swedish website for musicians and came across with a user name 'SilverHawks'. He had a huge load of great guitars and amps up for sale!

Now, he said he's a U.S citizen, but is living right now in BRAZIL to learn the language and that in 2008 he would come to live in Sweden!
I went after the DY and he replied to me quickly. He sent me some pics of it and the guitar looked really good, except for the neck pocket crack. He seemed to be a really nice chap and legit, but when it came down to payment methods he wanted to only go with... TA-DAA... Western Union.

Then I recalled seeing on Rich's site the warnings about this con-man 'Al from Brazil' and that was it!

At first I wanted to go with bank transfer, but he said no, because the bank would charge him 17% of the total sum! Then I made a total turn around. I suggested, that he should first send the guitar here, then I'd make the payment via W.U. Well, haven't heard about him after that.

There began a debate on the Swedish site, that this was nothing but a scam attempt.

If the guy was legit, then why didn't he come back to the boards and defend himself .?. That's right... He's most definately WAY out of legit.

I've got some of this Allan H. info - even the number of his apartment (maybe that's not even real...).

Could this truly be the same character that has fooled too many? If he's not, then my bad.
