Re: Christopher Woods?

I don't know what my guitar falls under. I mean, he is making the body, but I supplied the neck and everything else. He's assembling it for me, so I don't know if it counts as a body, or as a complete guitar.

Re: Christopher Woods?

This is nowhere near as involved as what you were describing. I think you wanted individual controll of each bulb. Lets see... 11 bulbs with 4 wires on each.. 44 wires running under the fretboard! What I have been working on is a simple controller that will fade between colors but every bulb will do the same thing. Fades and blinks but no chase.

That sounds really cool Chris. Any idea when you will have the plans for that controller finalized?

Re: Christopher Woods?

I have already looked in to some controllers and found a couple of good candidates to do what I want. The controller can be added later as well as long as the setup is for a 3 color LED. But I doubt that I will get to anything new before February. Lots of jobs to complete and that is priority right now.

no, not really individual control. Actually you wouldn't need that many wires with only a 1 color LED. 1 side of the LED is all connected together, so that just 1 wire for the ground. I guess it would be 12 wires in total, not bad if you have very thin wires. I actually have the contoller for it too, but its only for 10 LED's.

Re: Christopher Woods?

I'm thinkin' there are worse problems to have! I think I'd just clear it, or a slight amber and clear. Chris does really nice wood work, and that one looks really superb, congrats!
