Re: Couldn't resist
So, so far 4 people are buttholes and actually bid on that. If you look hard enough you can see things that look like a face, but nothing that resembles Jesus. Maybe the guy is hispanic and it resembles someone named Jesus that he drinks with.

Re: Couldn't resist
I'm an atheist, so you can probably guess what I'd say.
I truly don't mean this in an offensive way...But it kills me when people think Jesus has nothing better to do than appear on their MRI or a potato chip or something. Then they call it a miracle. To me a miracle would be Jesus curing cancer, or afflicting pedophiles with some vengeful wrath...
It's all too funny to me.

Re: Couldn't resist
Anyone watch It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia? There was an episode where they saw Jesus in a waterstain on their wall. Long story short hilarity and offensive humor ensued. That show kicks asses

Yeah, me too, especially because this type of thinking breeds atheism, rather than intelligent replies. Open science book, close mind. ****ing Einstein, and innumerable notable purveyors of science had their eyes open, at least. Check out the non-eternal universe. And yeah, your closeminded babble was spewed in an offensive way. Go back and read your science books before you type more crap. Sigh. BTW Agnosticism is the intellectual high road, in fact, it's the only one compatible with science.

Lets just say for arguments sake, that Jesus, did appear on this morons MRI scan. Why in Gods
name would you sell it. I mean come on Jesus (son of god) according to christianity, is trying to communicate with this guy , its like the biggest discovery in the history of mankind and he is selling it on 3BAY
Thats mental, and people are bidding on it....
You know what, I got an MRI of my damaged knee from a snowboarding accident, maybe il look for some sort of jesus thing and post it on 3BAY also.
Il make sure to post a thread if I get bids

Re: Couldn't resist
I just think it's funny that everyone assumes the bearded looking guy is Jesus.
Since when have we had some pics of him and could recognize him by sight anyways?
I think it's extremely rediculous and I'm a christian. Why would God do something like that? "I'm all powerful and can do anything so I decided to appear in someones MRI scan."

Re: Couldn't resist
Man, if that "face" in the MRI looks like Jesus, then he was an ugly mofo, he's got bug eye's.
I've never understood religion. If Jesus is God's son, why worship him really? Why not just worship God direct, I mean he's the main man right? It's like worshipping the vice-president rather than the president don't you think?
Saying that, if that's what people do, then you can realise why the child of a celebrity these days is feted just as much as their famous parents. Although I always ask myself why?
I'm with Bill Hicks on this one man, if the earth is really only 2,000 years old, then how do you explain dinosaurs? How come they're not mentioned in the Bible?

It took me a bit to think on this...
You seem to either be an Agnostic, a religious zealot, or an @$$hole head I'm not sure which one.
Agnostics believe in being ambivalent..."We can neither prove nor disprove anything so we'll sit on the fence, just in case." The least they could do is have the nuts to pick a side...
I don't think my "spewed" babble was close minded at all, and as for offensive, I think this post might be but my previous one wasn't.
I never said I was a believer in science, so...
No one ever started a thousand year war because of their non belief in God, or persecuted others to the death (Nazis, Christians, Catholics, Spanish Inquisition) because of their disbelief.
It's also not an Atheist who rapes altar boys in the name of God...
I'm just saying...

{sarcasm alert part deux}
As an Episcopal priest [not the sarcastic part] I have to say that it brings me great joy to know that we're doing such a great job running the universe that God is finally letting Jesus take a vacation and have some fun!
On a personal note, if I were God I just might think it was fun to appear in all sorts of places just to mess with people. For instance:
1. When parents tell their son to clean his room I'd make the face of Jesus appear using the junk on the floor- can't clean up Jesus!
2. Make the image of the Last Supper appear in crabgrass on the lawn- no more mowing!
3. Have the garbage can burst into flames that do not burn (like with Moses and the bush) and say, "Thou shalt not empty me!"
You know, stuff like that...
Well I'm no idiot, you know. I study the Bible (anyone can flame me, it's okay, it's not breaking any new ground) and if you learn about God's character in it then you definately can see that God could work this way but he chooses not to for, what should be, obvious reasons.
But people don't want God, they want religiosity, the exact opposite from what God's design is. They want statues, ornate objects, magical powers, strange cryptic signs and on and on. They want to beable to reach God through their own means. But all the while they forget the message has always been, you can't reach God through any of those things or by anything you do. That is why he came and reached out to you, through his son Christ Jesus.
I know that this is going to seem like I want to start a discussion, which I don't unless someone geniuenly wants to talk about God for any reasons other than trying to argue His exsistance away or something like that. I just think that it deserves a bit of an-explanation since most of the "explanations" of what christians believe are comming from non-christians these days.
