DBK Copy..

Anyone seen this? Ebay item number: 3727868017
Doesn't look as bad as the old Jem7VWH that was on a while ago, the neck heel looks pretty flipping large XD Not a bad body though i suppose..

The finish looks better than a real DBK.

I'd pay 10p for it I suppose.

Just looks naff to me. The neck doesn't look like it belongs in that neck pocket.

I could make a more realistic DBK than that, Blindfolded, Drunk and high on crack !!!

Lets face it they are about $100 each for a unit of 25 (now i did'nt do any research heh heh)

Just think of how good the pickups and hardware must be I dread to think what the neck plays like

Burn it !!!

The tuning on these Guitars is remarkably stable........as long as you never touch the thing. The Trem system feels like it's going to snap. The pick ups are ....erm......don't really know how to describe them. The neck is made from..........erm.....thats it......laminate flooring.

How do I know? Cos I bought the actual Jem 6v originally advertised on e*ay.

DOH!!!

I bought it because ......it looked like it was............ok, I'm a cheap sob! There is no way I will post pics as it has taken me this long to admit I bought it in the first place. At least I feel better having confessed and repented my sins.
I am about to give in to the constant nagging and give it to my 10 yr old son (Joshua) so no doubt that after it's been thrown down the stairs a few times, it's overall tuning stability will be greatly increased.
I also installed a white click lock to it, which imho has now more than doubled it's value.
To add to my earlier post regarding the pick ups the sound generated from these babies can be likened to listening to music underwater.

A weight has been lifted..........

LOL - You added a cliplock, and your going to let your son throw it about.
You could have an EVO relic on your hands ala Vai. LOL, well not quite.

You may get more joy from burning it. ROFL.

I say hang on to it, and when you're at a gig playing a real JEM, slip off to the side of the stage while the drummer's taking a drum solo and people aren't paying attention, then come back with the cheap-o JEM and smash that sucker to tiny little pieces...then burn the pieces (hell, it'll probably sound better as a percussion instrument )
