Yeah I saw this one, looks a little dodgy. The pics dont look right to me either. I never trust those small pics anyway, you cant see enough detail.
Theres not enough description wither for me, if you was selling a JEM10th you would write loads describing it. But you never know, it may be 100% genuine and someone may catch a bargain!

It's a con. I asked him what the edition number was. HJe replied he didn't know. I asked if he looked at the guitar as it was stamped right on it. [1/2 hour wait, guess he had to do some research], he replies it's number 434. I asked if he had pictures of the actual guitar. He replied those were. The close up of the guard is on ibanezregister and is # 812. The other pics of the 10th with the
black pickups
I think were Kevin Geier's.

Ah, well there you are. It does look shifty. But thats not always enough to go by. Just because it looks shifty doesnt mean it is. But as ever Rich you have foiled their plans!
But thats what this part of the forum is for!

what can ebay do in situations like these? when people who know about the item for auction realise it's a con? What kind of evidence to ebay need to actually close as auction? I doubt anyone who has used ebay before would be foolish enough to bid on an item like that but some un-experienced newbie may be get really badly ripped off

Yeah its a shame, because you can garuantee someone will send him money. I am sure if someone said something to Ebay, they would keep an eye on it or even close it down. I made a complaint about someone on Ebay who was advertising fake trainers as the "real" "official" deal, cos one of my mates fell for it! When really they were just fakes. And Ebay ended up getting their account suspended. Apparently Ebay already knew about it, and they had complaints in the past. But no doubt they created a new account and carried on selling them anyway!

I reported it to ebay yesterday, doesn't mean they'll do anything under suspicious conditions. If I had reported he's looking to sell it off ebay then they would close it
