I just recently sold a boss
delay pedal on ebay for around $100. In my description, I said that I only shipped to the US, and the winning bidder happened to live in the netherlands. I contacted them and told them that I only shipped to the US. He said that was fine and gave me a US shipping address saying that it would be shipped to a fellow company employee who was going to the netherlands around the middle of july and would just deliver it to him. I remember talk about some other people selling guitars and other equipment on ebay to people out of the country and once they shipped it, the money that was paid to them was charged back because the card was stolen or something. Has anyone run into this? I've not heard of the netherlands as one of the countries that this has happened with and since I'm shipping it to the US, does that make a difference? I just don't want to lose $100 here. Thanks.
