Ed Roman Guitars

I just got back from my trip to Las Vegas and Ed Roman Guitars. Vegas may just be the coolest/ strangest place on earth. Ed roman's however is not. It was pretty cool to see all those guitars in one place. I have never seen soo many jems before. There had to be over 20 jems side by side. The service was pretty much non existant. I walked around the store for about an hour, and not a single person got off their asses to see if I wanted help. There might have been one other customer in the store, and they didn't get much help either. For the 100 or so great guitars they have there are about 3500 that are crap, alot of them are Roman nock offs, and not that good. I did buy an OFR for a project, but could have gotten it online for around the same price any way........................ Ed Roman Guitars is a cool place to see just for the novelty of it. but thats about all. Chef21

Re: Ed Roman Guitars

Someone once turned me onto his website when I was looking to build a custom guitar. His site is vast...impressive even. That is until I went to the "Rants" section. I didn't like what he had to say about Ibanez, and it made me feel like unless I was buying one of his Knock-offs I wasn't getting a value.
Then there is a section where he posts an email banter with a customer and published his name and web adress. I do not like to bash or flame anyone, but Ed Roman A.Needs Therapy
B. Will never get money from me.

I think it's strange that he's still open for business....
Don't people check for reviews before they buy ?

Re: Ed Roman Guitars

Well if all they saw was his site they would love him considering how many "reviews" he puts up hyping himself.

Re: Ed Roman Guitars

Ed Roman is a cool guy. Last time I was in Vegas I stopped by his shop and bought a PRS CU24 10 Top w/birds and he modified the "heel from hell" on the spot, for FREE!!! Later that night Ed and his wife took me out to dinner and showed me some "hot spots" around the strip. I can't say enough about the quality of service, and prompt labor, that Ed Roman provides. Hopefully this man is Catholic because he is in the running for sainthood

Re: Ed Roman Guitars

The guy standing behind him definetely has the look of a satisfied ER customer.

But seriously, my above post was meant to be sarcastic. I would never consider owning a PRS from any dealer, I dislike PRS guitars almost as much as I dislike Ed Roman. ER is a fan of highway robbery, and bashing all brands he doesn't carry (and some he does). Anybody that buys a guitar from ER is either a celebrity passing through his shop, or someone who does not know his reputation, either way the person is getting ripped off somehow/someway, but at least the celebrity will throw the guitar away after one use anyway.
