Re: ET Guitars - New Vendor OFFICIAL THREAD
My two cents about ET guitars:
Still waiting for the body (ETA means nothing to me except sometimes when i get some GAS attack), but he's been very kind, helpfull and clever. He listened my ideas and understood my needs better than me.After testing some different hardware, i realized he was right since beginning, and my project will finish the way he says. (a HUGE thanx man!)
Some tecnical: i've mailed you some ago but i got no answer, i was 1000% sure you were overbusy, in fact i didnt mailed back again, and after a while you wrote it on your site. Are you able to do a full scallop neck with inlays? i wish to build one for.. xmas or even more, i dont mind,my ETAs are "when it's ready".
Just let me know if we can start talk about it

Hey, this must be Alessandro? Caio friend and welcome to Jemsite.
Please send your email again, sure we can talk about your project, if you don't mind working at it for later this year, around Xmas.
By the way the body will be ready very soon!

Re: ET Guitars - New Vendor OFFICIAL THREAD
Bump, ET I know you are really busy this time of year but I was wondering if we could look into a project I had in mind (just a neck and a body) for later during the year
thanks

Re: ET Guitars - New Vendor OFFICIAL THREAD
Its actually been relatively difficult to get a hold of Ernie lately. (past 2 months) Anyone get emails from him since May? Just wondering if hes alright.
Im more excited about my project with him than anything ive ever owned, guitar wise.

Re: ET Guitars - New Vendor OFFICIAL THREAD
It seems that ET is very busy indeed. He dropped by on SS.org lately to give me a quick update on my baritone neck. I'm sure that he's fine, but his time as a luthier is pretty much brim-full.

When you find a good liuther get used to these timings. there's nothing you can do.
A little trick: if you order without clearcoat it will be faster

i am not concerned with timing to finish my project, just was spoiled by ET's usual 2-3 day timeframe for responding to emails.. I have delt with luthiers before, specifically one talked about on here with 90 pages. I know how it takes years to have a project finished =/ communication should be required at least once every 2 months though, but ive yet to meet one who does that besides ET (which is why im wondering if hes alright/not dead, since its been a few months since I got a reply this time)

Re: ET Guitars - New Vendor OFFICIAL THREAD
Hey guys,
I'm still alive and not in hiding :-)
Just send me a follow up on your emails if you need a question answered or need to chat about your project.
There was a period of 2-3 weeks recently where I was ridiculously busy in every part of my life that you could list. Can't imagine it would be humanly possible for anybody to keep on top of it... so I admit that I ignored emails during that period, and waited for people to follow up if they really needed to talk. So send those emails fellas, and I'll get back to you in the normal timeframe.
Oh, and there's an important announcement (good news) for ET Guitars that I'll make public very soon.

Re: ET Guitars - New Vendor OFFICIAL THREAD
hi Ernie...
'important announcement (good news)'?? .... that's great!
I'm sure that you are very busy, and I don't want to seem like an impatient... but I hope that you don't forget me. I'm looking forward to seeing my 2 necks.
and please, you send pics to me when you can, althought the necks are not finished.
thanks! gracias!
dani (sorry my bad english)

Re: ET Guitars - New Vendor OFFICIAL THREAD
Hey guys, this is my first post. A few weeks ago my PMC replica arrived from Ernie and man was it worth the wait! It took a little longer than i expected but hey it was worth it. Anyone wondering bout the quality of Ernie's work shouldn't, the guitar i recieved is amazing. I own 3 other jems that all feel and sound differently, and the et guitar is right in there with em. The finish is incredible, the sound spot on. Dealing with Ernie was also easy, he gave me exactly what i wanted. I can't speak highly enough of him. A BIG thumbs up to you Ernie....
