This is the Jem that made Ibanez come out with the 333.

The logo is all wrong.
the word "jem" is all wrong.
The Monkey grip is heinously wrong
7vwh's have gold pole pieces on the pickups.
The knobs * switch cover are all wrong - should be white
The string retainer bar isi n the wrong place
The screws in the bridge and locking nut should be black, not gold.

If it's less than $200, go for it - how bad could it be...but it's not an Ibanez and certainly isn't a Jem.

Re: PLEASE HELP: Ibanez JEM made in China???

PS: There are 4 more from this same guy being sold under 'BRAND NEW ELECTRIC GUITAR' if anybody's interesting buying.

BIN (yes, i said BIN) is GBP 4.99 (Approximately US $8.75)
Shipping 158 GBP (Approximarely US $275)

If you could negotiate the shipping to $30 US you'd have a good deal.

Re: FAKE JEM MASTER THREAD - FAKE JEM7s ON **** made in China!! (Merged Topics)

Glad to see this as a sticky. It seems like at least one person a day asks this question in a new thread rather than do a bit of research.

Kudos!

Re: Misrepresented & FAKE COPY JEM7s on e-bay or local stores - Made in China

These guitars look hideous, the monkey grip is way off, the headstock is off and everything else.

Well, this doesnt make a lot of sense unless you also think that the 7VWH looks hideous. This guitars look almost identical to the 7vwh.

They look like hideous carricatures of a real JEM, no matter what you think of the appearance of a real JEM.
